DPI LEAGUE FALL 2024

Delta Pickleball Inc. kicked off its first ever competitive league on October 27. League play is one night a week, Sunday, from 4-6pm, for 6 weeks. League play is for everyone and is composed of different ages and skill levels. Players are grouped on courts according to the skill level selected when individuals register. Week 1 players are assigned a court according to those skill level rankings. There will be 4-5 players on each court each week with 4 courts. Each player will play 4 to 6 games, depending on the total number of people on their court, and will rotate partners with the others who are also assigned to their court. LOTS of good pickleball each league night! Scores are submitted weekly, and players’ rankings will begin to change. Each week, courts are assigned based on new rankings from league play scores. Players could move up or down based on the previous week's games and scores.

We are half-way through our first Fall 2024 League. Week 3, we were super excited to be able to use the newly renovated Governor’s Court Pickleball Courts on Delta State’s campus. Hard to beat a night of pickleball and a Delta sunset! If you were unable to join us for the inaugural DPI league, be on the lookout for info to join us in our next one!
